About Centurion Heating & Bathrooms

Centurion Heating & Bathrooms was founded in January 2007 by Simon Brown and Paul Lee, to bring service back to the customers that were asking for just that.

Paul has been in the industry for 25 years, starting at the age of 16 with Abson BM in Dagenham Essex. After learning the trade from this side, Paul then moved on to the bathroom showroom side selling to the retail sector.

Paul then moved to Aquapower shower pumps selling to the merchant trade, before moving to Glow-worm boilers. He spent 10 years at Glow-worm before moving on to MTS (GB) selling Ariston boilers, cylinders and small water heaters. In 2005 Paul was promoted to Commercial Director but after 8 years at the company, Paul felt that the time had come to put his knowledge into a company of his own.

Simon started at 16 as an installer in Colchester, doing his apprenticeship and gaining all the relevant qualifications.

Simon then moved on to Falcon plumbing, and from working on the trade counter, showroom and buying department gained an invaluable knowledge of the local market, installers, developers and products.

This knowledge was put to further use and expanded when he joined MTS (GB) and after his role as area sales manager and latterly regional contract manager, Simon felt the time was right to move on.

So together Simon and Paul have 45 years experience of the industry, covering installation, merchant sales, manufacturer sales and marketing. This experience is now put to its fullest use, working hard with Centurions supplier partners, to give the installer exactly what he wants, when he wants it at the right price.

This all adds up to a company that can be proud to boast that this is where “service still counts”.
